Revolut Product Analyst Interview Guide

Revolut's Product Analyst process, as one recent candidate described it, is light on structure and heavy on one open-ended question. The candidate applied in late September, heard from a recruiter at the end of November, and reached the skill interview in the third week of December, so expect long gaps between stages, especially around the holidays. The recruiter call was a basic introduction after a reschedule, and the candidate was asked for process feedback before the interview had even happened.

The skill interview was a 30-minute call with a product manager, labeled only 'skill based'. The core question was broad: a product launches, misses its number, and shows diminishing returns in month two compared with month one, so what would you do? The candidate wasn't sure what the question was meant to measure and guessed it was about problem-solving. The interviewer joined ten minutes late and seemed unsure of the role, which cut into the time available.

That is a single report, and the candidate was rejected shortly after submitting a second feedback survey, so treat it as one data point rather than a template. The most useful preparation is the habit the question rewards: restate the goal, ask which metric missed and by how much, split the decline into drivers such as acquisition, activation and retention, and say aloud how you would check each before proposing fixes. Practice doing that with almost no context, and keep a short introduction ready for the recruiter call.
