The one OneTrust Software Engineer report we have describes three rounds: a technical basics round, a deeper data structures and design round, and a conversation with HR. The first round covered arrays, heaps and loops, which the candidate called nothing too exotic. The second included designing a sample DTO for Instagram, along with scenario-based questions about handling real-world problems. The third was a getting-to-know-you discussion about fit and culture. The candidate found the interviewers friendly and the interview fair, but did not receive an offer.
The practical takeaway is to be fluent in fundamentals and able to talk through simple design choices, such as how you would shape data transfer objects, rather than to chase obscure puzzles.
Reports from other OneTrust engineering roles are a looser guide, since they are not Software Engineer interviews. A Principal Engineer describes a LeetCode-style coding round and a system design question about YouTube. A Performance Test Engineer describes Kubernetes, SQL and monitoring questions. A Sales Engineering Manager candidate says the round order didn't match what was announced. It's reasonable to confirm the format of each stage with your recruiter.
The Software Engineer candidate waited about two weeks for a decision and heard little afterward, so keep other applications moving in parallel.

Synthesized from candidate reports. Individual experiences may vary.
The Software Engineer candidate reports a first round on technical basics: arrays, heaps and loops, described as nothing too exotic. Prepare to solve and explain straightforward data structure problems clearly. One report can't show how much the format varies between interviewers.
The same candidate reports a second round that went deeper into data structures and design, including designing a sample DTO for Instagram, plus scenario-based questions on handling real-world problems. Practice explaining how you shape data and walking through how you'd handle a practical engineering scenario.
The third round reported for the Software Engineer role was with the HR team and felt like a getting-to-know-you conversation about fit and culture. Prepare a concise account of your background and motivation. The candidate waited about two weeks for a decision and says follow-up communication was sparse.
