Our candidates report that Highradius leans much more on applied database thinking than on deep algorithmic novelty. The strongest signal in the experience we saw was the emphasis on project discussion: interviewers kept coming back to how the candidate designed their database, how they would handle application load, and whether they could explain basic joins cleanly. That tells us the bar is less about memorizing tricks and more about showing you can reason through the systems behind everyday software.
A recurring theme is that the technical questions sit in the easy-to-medium range, but they still expose gaps quickly if your SQL is shaky. The problems mentioned — from transaction counting to student test logic — suggest they want candidates who can translate a business question into a correct query without overcomplicating it. We’ve also seen that the company values people who can speak clearly about their own work; the project walkthrough seems to matter almost as much as the coding itself.
The non-obvious part is that polish matters here. One candidate described the final conversation as unprofessional, which can make the process feel uneven, but it also means candidates who stay composed and communicate crisply can stand out fast. In practice, Highradius appears to reward clear reasoning, decent SQL, and calm explanation of tradeoffs more than flashy technical depth.

Real interview reports from people who went through the Highradius process.
There were exactly 3 rounds, 1 OA and two interviews - The first one was about technical and that's the only round where I felt a bit of questions being asked of some easy - medium difficult and then comes HR round where it was looking so unprofessional, So anyone with good aptitude, communication skills and decent SQL Knowledge can easily get an offer letter from this company.
Questions asked: I was mostly asked about my projects and some basic SQL queries. They asked me about the database designing of my projects and moreover asked me some basic SQL joins questions. I was being asked how would I handle the load on my application.

Synthesized from candidate reports. Individual experiences may vary.
The process starts with an OA before any live interviews. Based on the experience shared, this likely focuses on aptitude and basic technical screening rather than deep system design.
This round covers project discussion, database design, and basic SQL questions such as joins. Candidates may also be asked simple system design or scalability questions, like how they would handle load on an application.
The final round is with HR and appears to be more conversational. The experience suggests it may focus on communication and general fit before the offer is made.
