Whenever I found a solution early, they added constraints, asked about edge cases, or pushed me to improve the time and space complexity. At one point, I had to rethink the design of a solution midway through the discussion. The process felt demanding because they were evaluating not only problem-solving ability, but also how clearly I communicated my reasoning and trade-offs.
There were four rounds. The first was a 45-minute coding round with two questions. The problems required more than a standard LeetCode-style answer: I was expected to write clean code, explain the approach as I went, test edge cases, and respond to follow-up optimization questions. The time pressure was noticeable with two questions in the slot, especially because the discussion continued after producing a working solution.
The second round was a 90-minute technical interview covering Java, Spring Boot, databases, and multithreading. The interviewer went fairly deep rather than stopping at basic definitions, so practical understanding mattered. The third round broadened the discussion to full-stack topics.
