That means practicing open-ended product questions, checking AI-generated SQL for logic errors, making assumptions explicit in take-homes, and defending metric choices in plain language.

Passive familiarity with ChatGPT is no longer enough to count as an advantage. If every candidate has access to similar tools, the differentiator becomes taste, skepticism, and clarity. The strongest candidates will be the ones who can use AI to move faster while still showing why an analysis is sound and where it is weak.
