This individual will work with technical and business teams to optimize planning, execution, process improvement and track progress against goals. This role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities as well as outstanding business acumen and comfort with technical teams and systems. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and enjoy working with large scale of data.

Key job responsibilities

· Working with technology and analytics teams to support the development of tools, automation, and dashboards

· Engineering critical input and output metrics across the full operations spectrum

· Creating process performance metrics to measure operational performance, identify root causes and trends, and prescribe action plans for delivery stations around the NA region

· Managing metrics across multiple projects simultaneously

· Communicating with and supporting various internal stakeholders and external audiences

· Partner with internal stakeholders across multiple teams, gathering requirements and delivering complete solutions

· Partner with Data Engineering and Software Development Engineers to prioritize and define S&OP data and BI development needs

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience

Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools

Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines

Experience writing complex SQL queries

Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling

Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field

Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift

Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets

Experience working as a BIE in a technology company

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
