Obsolete Microprocessor Inventory

Let’s say we have 50,000 units of discontinued microprocessors sitting in our warehouse at Intel, each valued at $15 per unit. A buyer offers to purchase the entire inventory for $20 per unit, but they won’t be able to take delivery or pay for another 6 months.
