Netflix Churn Prediction

You’re developing a churn prediction model for Netflix. One model achieves very strong performance on historical training data but performs poorly when evaluated on new users. A simpler baseline model shows more stable performance across datasets, but fails to capture many important churn patterns.

How would you investigate this? What is the probable cause? Determine what changes, if any, are needed to improve the model.
