Insight Global is actively seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our Financial Readiness team in support of a DoD program. The work is hybrid working onsite at the Pentagon in Washington D.C. roughly 3 days per week, and flex-work roughly 2 days telework. Position requires 8-hour duty day / 40 hours weekly including FINRED core hours of Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The candidate will represent the organization in direct communication with customers and demonstrate an interest in advancing the FINRED mission. Job Duties: <ul><li>Work under the Director for Financial Readiness in support of the Personal Financial Counselor (PFC) Program.</li><li>Manage contract requirements, contractor deliverables, and communicate with stakeholders, as assigned, in accordance with the performance work statement.</li><li>Align contractor support to the mission of training, counseling, educating, assessing, protecting, and communicating Financial Readiness preparedness to service members.</li><li>Understand requirements and analyze raw data to draw conclusions and make recommendations to Director and PFC program manager in the areas of efficiency, resource utilization, and mission alignment.</li><li>Use data science and data analytics tools to understand and prepare data in support of data driven decision-making.</li><li>Work as an integrated part of the Financial Readiness team to support key initiatives and activities across the organization.</li><li>Support daily morning meetings and team meetings using common communication tools and team collaboration tools.</li><li>Draft policy documents related to the financial readiness of Service members and families in a variety of formats, to include standard operating procedures, memorandums, and instructions. </li><li>Review, research, analyze, and communicate the potential impacts of proposed legislation on DoD policies, programs, and positions related to the financial readiness of Service members and families. </li><li>Coordinate with DoD-wide programs to address financial readiness policy requirements, including military training, banking, morale and welfare programs, suicide prevention, family readiness, and transition assistance. </li><li>Work will include project management support to include planning, research, preparation, development, and coordination. </li><li>Work with other DoD interests and other government and non-governmental interests to provide the most comprehensive financial preparedness opportunities to the Services. </li><li>Up to 10% travel possible. </li></ul>Required Education: <ul><li>Bachelors degree and six (6) years or more of related experience; additional four (4) years of related experience in lieu of degree.</li></ul>Required Security Clearance:<ul><li>This position is designated Non-Critical Sensitive (Secret) and requires a Tier 3 investigation eligibility.</li></ul>Required Experience: <ul><li>Experience working in the Pentagon or Military Service Headquarters (military or civilian) </li><li>5+ years of demonstrated experience working in data analytics and performing complex data analysis supporting program-level decision making. </li><li>Strong communication and writing skills. </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to understand the Financial Readiness mission and work independently to define objectives and make informed recommendations under general direction from management. </li><li>Basic understanding of the scope of knowledge and basic learning objectives/skills related to the military personal financial management space. </li><li>Expertise in developing, delivering, and reporting on DoD-wide programs in cross-cutting Financial Readiness specializations (e.g., personnel training, counseling, financial management, consumer protection, communications, spouse, and family support activities) to support the operation and improvement of the office mission.</li><li>Ability to represent the organization in direct communication with customers.</li></ul>Desired Skills and Experience:<ul><li>Background in Military Personal Financial Management Programs. Military background or knowledge of the unique factors related to the military lifestyle is a plus.</li><li>Understanding of Office of the Secretary of Defense’s relationship to and with the Military Services.</li><li>Understanding of the differences between the armed forces active and reserve components.</li><li>Experience working within Tableau or similar visual analytics platform.</li><li>Demonstrated experience developing policy, guidance and/or standard operating procedure documents</li></ul>
