The New York eHealth Collaborative (NYeC) is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2006, dedicated to enhancing healthcare in New York through improved health information exchange. Partnering with the New York State Department of Health, NYeC strives to achieve the Triple Aim: improving patient care experiences, enhancing health outcomes, and reducing costs. As the leader of the Statewide Health Information Network for New York (SHIN-NY), the organization facilitates connections among healthcare providers, develops supportive policies and standards, and aids in the effective use of electronic health records. Through its various initiatives, NYeC aims to foster better coordination and integration of healthcare services, ultimately working towards a more efficient and effective healthcare system in New York.
