The Institut Català de Nanociència i Nanotecnologia (ICN2) is a leading research center dedicated to advancing the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology. With a strong emphasis on innovative electronic materials, the Advanced Electronic Materials and Devices Group at ICN2 is at the forefront of developing novel materials, particularly focusing on graphene and other 2D materials such as MoS2. This multidisciplinary group delves into various scientific domains, including device physics, semiconductor technologies, material growth, and nanofabrication, while actively creating cutting-edge applications like biosensors and neural technologies. Currently engaged in the i-VISION project, which seeks to develop graphene-based neural interfaces for retinal interaction, ICN2 demonstrates a robust commitment to pushing the boundaries of technology in the biomedical arena.
