The Civilian Complaint Review Board (CCRB) is the largest police oversight agency in the United States, dedicated to fostering accountability and transparency within the New York City Police Department. With a mission to investigate, mediate, and prosecute public complaints against police officers, the CCRB addresses serious allegations such as excessive force, abuse of authority, and biased policing, including instances of racial profiling.
