About The RoleAs a Senior Software Engineer on the Integrations team, you would be responsible for delivering key products in the pipeline, enabling us to scale to thousands of healthcare practices.We will have a combination of both directly user-facing products as well as interfaces for other engineering teams. You will be building features that range from building for usability to scaling for massive growth and a wide array of engineering requirements.You’ll be working on defining, driving, and delivering the technical roadmap of the team and defining the underlying infrastructure for the next 5 years and beyond. What You’ll Do<ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions between various healthcare systems (EHR, RCM, etc.) ensuring seamless data exchange and interoperability.</li><li>Utilize HL7 and FHIR standards to facilitate effective and secure data sharing across healthcare platforms.</li><li>Develop, configure, and manage RPA bots to automate data ingestions in different formats from healthcare systems.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify integrations and solve for the technical integration complexities.</li><li>Conduct system analysis, troubleshooting, and provide technical support for integration and automation issues.</li><li>Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in healthcare technology, HL7, FHIR, and RPA to drive continuous improvement.</li><li>Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA, to protect patient privacy and data security.</li><li>Document and maintain comprehensive integration and automation project documentation.</li></ul> Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in computer science/information systems or related field with 5+ years of experience developing healthcare systems integration components.</li><li>Proven experience (5+ years) working as an Integration Engineer in the healthcare industry, with a focus on EHR, RCM, and related systems.</li><li>Strong understanding of HL7 and FHIR standards, with hands-on experience in implementing HL7 interfaces and FHIR APIs.</li><li>Experience in healthcare integration and especially SMART on FHIR App Development.</li><li>Proficiency in programming languages such as Typescript, Java, Python etc. along with experience with integration platforms and tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Mirth Connect etc.)</li><li>Experience in relational database (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle).</li><li>Experience in developing RPAs using tools like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism is a plus</li><li>Experience working with semi-structured and unstructured data (JSON, XML, etc.)</li><li>Preferred experience working in scrum or agile teams & understanding of CI/CD pipelines.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.</li><li>Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>Familiarity with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, HITECH, and GDPR.</li><li>Relevant certifications (e.g., HL7 certification, RPA certification) would be a plus.</li></ul>

About The RoleAs a Staff Backend Engineer on the team, you would be responsible for delivering key products in the pipeline, enabling us to scale to thousands of healthcare practices.We will have a combination of both directly user-facing products as well as interfaces for other engineering teams. You will be building features that range from building for usability to scaling for massive growth and a wide array of engineering requirements.You’ll be working on defining, driving, and delivering the technical roadmap of the team and defining the underlying infrastructure for the next 5 years and beyond. What You’ll Do<ul><li>Work closely with Product Managers, designers and the business to create user-friendly product features.</li><li>Produce quality software that is shipped incrementally and continually at a high velocity</li><li>Have a lot of clear ownership over various parts of the product</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, PMs, and fellow engineers to plan features to help bring a high quality product to market</li><li>Stay up-to-date with the latest backend technologies and Generative AI technologies, and incorporate them into the product development process.</li><li>Ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systems to handle high traffic and support a large user base.</li><li>Implement data storage and retrieval mechanisms to support content creation, editing, and sharing.</li><li>Identify and address security vulnerabilities to protect user data and ensure the integrity of the platform.</li><li>Work on optimizing database queries and caching strategies to improve system efficiency and response times.</li><li>Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to maintain code quality and promote best practices within the team.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues and bugs, ensuring the stability and smooth operation of the platform.</li><li>Interact with early customers and support them in being successful with the new product</li><li>Provide thoughtful feedback to your peers, and benefit from strong mentorship yourself</li><li>Acting as a technical leader and an owner of the product vertical.</li></ul> Qualifications:<ul><li>BS/MS in Computer Science or related area or equivalent experience</li><li>7+ years of experience developing systems/software for large business environments (Typescript preferred)</li><li>5+ years of experience designing complex systems, management products or business applications</li><li>Strong OOD and SOA principles, with ability to implement them in a language of choice</li><li>Strong experience leading design and implementation of robust and highly scalable services</li><li>Skilled in software development lifecycle processes and experience with scrum, agile and iterative approaches</li><li>Expertise with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)</li><li>Knowledge and hands on experience in CI/CD solutions.</li><li>Knowledge in one or more of the following: NoSql technologies (Cassandra, ScyllaDB, ElasticSearch, Redis, DynamoDB), Sql Technologies (PostgresSQL), Queueing system experience (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, Azure Service Bus, etc)</li><li>Hands on experience with AWS services like S3, Lambdas, EC2 instances.</li><li>Practical experience in developing applications using microservices, container technologies, container management systems such as Kubernetes, Mesos, etc.</li><li>You have seen systems operating at a significant technical and organizational scale</li><li>Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</li></ul> It’d be really cool if you also have:<ul><li>4+ years of Typescript, Javascript, Node experience.</li><li>5+ years of experience with web-based full-stack development.</li><li>Experience with Designing Data Intensive systems</li><li>Experience working with large scale distributed systems</li></ul>
