Strong attention to detail, desire for process ownership, and interest in implementing new technology are highly valued.If you want an exciting career where you use your previous expertise and can develop and grow your career even further, then this is the opportunity for you.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in a Development Team for one or multiple software applications or initiatives;Design, modify, develop, and support software applications;Participate in software validation process through development, review, and/or execution of test plan/cases/scripts;Create software applications and features by following our software development lifecycle (SDLC) process, which includes requirements gathering, design, development, testing, release, and maintenance;Collaborate with team members regarding projects, development, tools, and training;Develop and utilize skills in development areas including object-oriented programming (C#), databases (SQL), Model, View, Controller (MVC), Entity Framework (EF), Angular, and web applications (ASP.NET);Provide occasional high level end-user support including feature training and troubleshooting for applications released;QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science;At least 2 years of software development experience using modern development tools and practices such as: MVC, Angular, Web API, Microservices, Webservices, C#, HTML, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Entity Framework, GitHub, SQL/NoSQL , software development life cycle (SDLC), software release management;Prior experience modernizing systems is a plus;Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills;Excellent computer skills.CompensationA target salary range of $70,000 - $145,000. Your compensation will be based on your skills and experience. Job Summary: Our imaging services are rapidly growing and we are currently seeking a full-time Software Engineer to join our team developing applications for the analysis and quantification of medical images (CT, MRI, etc.) using advanced techniques such as artificial intelligence and deep learning. Responsibilities : <ul><li>Design and develop image quantification applications using advanced techniques such as artificial intelligence and deep learning; integrate these applications into Medpaces image management system</li><li>Conduct unit testing, participate in software validation process through development, review and execution of test scripts</li><li>Follow the companys software development lifecycle processes in a highly regulated environment (drug development)</li><li>Communicate with team members regarding projects, development, tools, and procedures</li><li>Provide end-user support including setup, installation, and maintenance for applications released</li><li>Write technical documentation</li></ul> Qualifications : <ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, or higher</li><li>Excellent programming skills, at least 2 years of software development experience</li><li>Knowledge of standard image processing techniques (segmentation, registration, etc.)</li><li>Experience in machine learning or deep learning</li><li>Other appreciated skills/knowledge:<ul><li style="margin-left: 1.0in;">Programming languages: C#, python, javascript, typescript</li><li style="margin-left: 1.0in;">Cloud systems (Azure, AWS, etc.)</li><li style="margin-left: 1.0in;">Machine/deep learning frameworks ( TensorFlow, Keras, etc.)</li><li style="margin-left: 1.0in;">Code management tools: TFS/DevOps, git.</li></ul></li><li>Team spirit</li><li>Good level of communication</li></ul>TRAVEL: None Medpace Overview : Medpace is a full-service clinical contract research organization (CRO).
