The  FigFile Platform  team is responsible for the backend services storing and synchronizing Figma Design and FigJam files. We are perhaps best known for operating the Multiplayer service, which powers the low-latency collaboration in Figma's editors. We’re also responsible for Figma’s file abstractions, including the File object, images, and videos. And core infrastructure abstractions like content storage (S3, Dynamo), and APIs internal systems use to access Figma file data.

We have many large, challenging projects ahead, and are looking for engineers with strong distributed systems experience, who have operated mission critical "online" systems at substantial scale.

As a part of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in providing a seamless experience for both our internal and external developers, ensuring they can interact with Figma files effortlessly.

The Developer Experience teams optimize the development process within Figma, enabling our engineers to build the future as fast as they can imagine it. The Build Systems team  is responsible for Figma's Build and CI infrastructure.
