What you'll bring
MS/PhD in quantitative fields such as Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Operations Research, or a related field with 2+ years working experience in a data analytics or data science related role. Or bachelor’s degree in the same fields with 4+ years working experience.
Proficient in SQL, Python, Tableau, and Excel; working knowledge of A/B testing is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; familiar with statistical modeling, loss forecasting, and collections. Having working knowledge of the fundamentals of payment processing and an understanding of industry fraud and risk trends is a plus.
Track record of diving into data and driving data insights for business needs both quantitatively and qualitatively.
Passion for analyzing data and an insatiable curiosity to understand complex business issues and proactively looking for business opportunities and driving new innovations.
Ability to tell stories with data, educate effectively, and instill confidence, motivating stakeholders to act on recommendations.

How you will lead
Use advanced analytical techniques to mine massive scale account and transactional data to build/optimize financial risk strategies/policies, and translate into actionable business plans.
Lead the full cycle of risk strategy/policy work, including identifying opportunities and action plans, developing and testing policy, launching policy to production, and monitoring the performance.
Build subject matter expertise in different types of risks among money movement offerings to optimize the balance between risk mitigation and growth in the Intuit ecosystem.
Team up with our data scientists, risk operations, product, data engineering, and analytics teams closely to drive customer segmentations, develop innovative risk strategies, and perform portfolio analyses.
Test into and recommend 3rd party data providers to solve individual/business credit risk and other types of exposure risk.
Design, implement, and monitor testing to explore new methodologies and estimate key metrics for our risk strategies.
