About the Role  Client Investment Services & Technology group (CIS) within InvesTech Operations has an open position for an Analyst based out of the Boston or Needham Massachusetts office supporting the Private Investments Reporting Team. The Analyst is expected to primarily focus on Private Credit (PC) products with Private Equity (PE) coverage and support a possibility.
Producing high quality, accurate, and timely reporting is one of the key aspects of providing superior service to our clients, prospects, and consultants. To that end, the Private Investments Reporting Team within CIS covers all PE and PC products and is responsible for creating, maintaining, and producing marketing and client materials as well as customized reporting and commentary. RESPONSIBILITIES  Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
Partner with FI-IR and our Client Group to understand the fundamentals of our products and the general content needs of our clients, prospects, and consultants
Serve as an internal subject matter expert to the other roles within CIS, Client Group, and the broader Firm

Take the lead on the production of customized client content and requests by leveraging product and infrastructure expertise
Peer review client content completed by the team as needed to ensure accuracy, data reasonability, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS  The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
3+ years of professional experience in either investment management or operational support roles
Candidates should demonstrate a high level of capital markets/investment/product interest and knowledge, particularly in the fixed income, private, and/or alternative asset classes
Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and willingness to stretch beyond standard procedures and deliverables
Ability and comfort working independently with Investment Teams and senior management

Qualifications and Competencies    Bachelor’s Degree  in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field with a minimum of 3 – 5 years relevant work experience. Additional and relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
Experience in KPI Development and Management : Demonstrated success in designing, implementing, and maintaining KPI strategies, with a proven track record of aligning performance metrics with operational goals.
Dashboard Development : Proficiency in dashboard creation and management, with experience maintaining style guides and providing dashboard support in a professional services context. Familiarity with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms.
Project Management Skills : Strong project management experience, particularly in piloting new software solutions, managing change initiatives, or leading innovation projects. PMP or similar certifications are a plus.
Data Integrity and Quality Standards : Solid understanding of data quality management, data warehousing, and data governance practices. Ability to balance business needs for data availability with IT requirements for security and accuracy.
Analytical Skills and Problem-Solving : Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify operational inefficiencies, facilitate business process reviews, and drive system improvements.
Collaborative and Consultative Approach : Ability to effectively partner with cross-functional teams and internal/external stakeholders to identify areas of improvement, streamline workflows, and support continuous process enhancements.
Innovation Mindset : Proactive and forward-thinking with a passion for leveraging new technologies and solutions that drive digital transformation and align with evolving business needs.

Data Analysts in our strategy and analytics practice work on 2-5 person project teams to build and manage complex data processes that provide actionable analytics and reporting to our clients. We are looking for individuals who are excited to use a range of technologies to analyze data, develop and automate analytics and reporting workflows, build predictive models, investigate complex processes, identify/execute process improvement opportunities, and communicate clear recommendations to clients in a fun, fast paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
Contribute to the development, execution, and management of multi-year analytics focused consulting engagements by developing and managing critical ETL, analytics, and reporting processes
Gather and process structured and unstructured data in a wide variety of formats (Excel, text, csv, database etc.) from multiple sources to support the delivery of comprehensive and accurate information to our clients
Build thoughtful quality control process to ensure data integrity from load stages through the end-to-end data integration and dashboard/reporting development processes
Proactively resolve data exceptions through investigative analysis and by collaborating with our technical team to explore and creatively resolve technical challenges or issues
Develop, maintain, and update analytics frameworks, reports and web-based dashboards to meet client needs, including the development of actionable KPIs and summary metrics to be reported
Create thoughtful data visualizations that communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Build and maintain predictive analytics and machine learning models that provide actionable insight to our clients
Provide analysis to support client requests, including providing data summaries, conducting statistical analysis, and synthesizing findings to build a fact base and tell compelling stories
