Who we’re looking for:
Skillz seeks a world-class executive leader who leads by example and inspires teams throughout various levels of the organization.  The Group Product Manager will work in our Developer Experience product organization and be responsible for ensuring best in class experience for developers building on Skillz’s industry-leading competition platform.
The person will know how to inspire and lead in a high-performing organization to deliver amazing world class experiences for our game developer community.  You’ll lead work alongside a team of product managers, designers, and analysts to create the future of digital competition. You'll partner with the Head of Consumer Product and Head of Developer Success on the product roadmap, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for our developer ecosystem initiatives.
What you’ll do:

<li style="font-weight: 400;">Drive vision, execution, and adoption of the Skillz developer platform by delivering a best-in-class developer experience.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Own the developer product roadmap and deliver on key metrics such as developer CSAT/NPS, new game integration time, new game prize enablement, and developer support operational metrics.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Enable and champion the Platform & Developer Experience initiatives, covering client and server SDK experience, 3rd party integrations, API standards, documentation, sample code and customer dashboards.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Think Big! Foster innovation and experimentation, delivering software solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations. Solve the problems of today while thinking about tomorrow.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Stay current with tools and technologies in game development, making use of current trends to ensure best-in-class experiences.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Encourage and guide the team in their support of developer communities around the world and to use the knowledge the team gains to build amazing developer experiences.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Leads and manages a team of product managers to high performance; sets goals, delegates work, holds owners of actions accountable, makes critical business decisions.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Drive analysis of releases and share results through quarterly business reviews (QBRs); build a track record of delivering on forecasted outcomes.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Work with the engineering team to estimate ship dates of major deliverables with a 75% or better accuracy.</li>

Your Skillz & Experience:
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">10+ years of experience building and delivering developer-centered experiences; be able to demonstrate the success and impact of your efforts for both users and business.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Experience engaging, developing and owning global developer communities, with hand-on experience of building developer-facing products such as APIs/SDKs.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Experience with managing, and developing a high performing team. A leader who people want to follow. You build trust, inspire, and mentor your team.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">A great communicator (verbal, written, and visual) who has the ability to influence and build consensus both within a product team and with executive stakeholders across the company.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">BA/BS and/or MA/MS in a related field.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Experience building video game developer tooling/services, game engines or mobile gameplay experiences at a platform level.</li>

<li>Product Vision: Work cross functionally with stakeholders to define the consumer product vision, strategy and roadmap for the competition platform.</li>
<li>A strategic problem solver capable of synthesizing data from multiple sources (including analytics, user research, marketing research, and design) to identify key customer needs.</li>
<li>Collaboration: Define product goals working closely with engineers, designers, analysts, data scientists and other PMs so the “why” is clear to all stakeholders.</li>
<li>Communication: Team player and excellent communicator capable of clearly sharing feature development progress, metric impact, etc to a multi-functional group.</li>
<li>Roadmap: Build big impactful initiatives from start to finish, articulating outcomes, scoping requirements, planning development, and shipping iterative improvements.</li>
<li>Execution: Work with the engineering team to estimate ship dates of major deliverables with a 75% or better accuracy.</li>
<li>Results Driven: Drive analysis of releases and share results through quarterly business reviews (QBRs); build a track record of delivering on forecasted outcomes.</li>
<li>Work with analysts to create KPI dashboards and generate insights on product performance to inform feature design.</li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;">5+ years of experience building and delivering customer engaging experiences in mobile games or apps. Your work will touch a range of platforms and should clearly demonstrate the success and impact of your efforts for both users and business.</li>
<li>5+ years of experience in a senior product management role, preferably in gaming (console, PC, or mobile); interactive entertainment; technology; or consumer products.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Proven track record building large consumer facing features that have moved key metrics by at least 10%.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Experience in defining vision, strategy, roadmap and taking multiple products through the software development lifecycle from conception to launch.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Knowledge of mobile games, gamified consumer products and refined visual design sensibility.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">A great communicator (oral, written, and visual) who has the ability to influence and build consensus both within a product team and with executive stakeholders across the company.</li>
