Role Overview <ul> <li>Lead various, high profile cross-functional initiatives through our design thinking process.</li> <li>Articulate business problems, gather evidence from users and outside sources, clarify the potential solutions with assumptions, guiding principles, strategic connections.</li> <li>Manage multiple tasks of varying complexity across multiple timelines and responsible parties.</li> <li>Perform research to understand the current state, map out happy and unhappy user journeys, conduct user research and feedback engagement enroute to sharing and validating these findings with users, business stakeholders and technology partners.</li> <li>Work in partnership with User Experience Design Leads to create solution prototypes which are then used to solicit additional feedback from key stakeholders.</li> <li>Partner with Product Owner team and Technology partners to ensure high-quality, efficient execution of key initiatives in a scaled agile delivery framework.</li> <li>Serve as primary evangelist of digital capabilities with internal and field stakeholders.</li> <li>Serve as persona proxy responsibly while working with other teams in developing design and functional requirements.</li></ul> Qualifications <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree (industrial design, user-centered design, visual design, design strategy, design management, human factors, psychology, human-computer interaction, etc.) and/or equivalent experience. </li> <li>Must have 5-7 years of industry related experience, 3 of which should relate to product management, design, or business facing product development. </li> <li>Strong in-depth knowledge of business-to-business sales, financial services, insurance, investments and proficient with technological development and industry leading enterprise digital platforms such as the Salesforce.com ecosystem of solutions.</li> <li>Fluency in technical delivery a plus.</li> <li>Strong organization and collaboration skills. </li> <li>Strong strategic thinking skills required.</li> <li>Exceptional senior-level communication skills. </li> <li>Creative problem-solving skills.</li></ul> #LI-BK1 #LI-HYBRID Salary range: $90,000 - $135,000 Overtime eligible: Exempt Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes Sales bonus eligible: No Click here to learn more about our benefits. The product manager is tasked with creating and prioritizing the epics and features necessary to initially, bring retail life products and minimum viable experiences to market on the new platform and then scale and deliver industry-leading components and service experience in the future. This leader will work closely with the VP, Core Modernization, PAS technical lead, release train engineer, business leads and PAS program manager to achieve success. This role will be responsible for the leadership, coaching and development of agile product owners who are tasked with ensuring user stories are well defined and understood; that acceptance criteria is thought-out and represents the scope of the story and provides incremental value for the customer. The product owner is accountable for maintaining and prioritizing the backlog, conducting user acceptance tests (UAT) and accepting work that meets the desired outcome for the business stakeholders and/or customer. As the primary strategic execution leader of the Core Modernization team, the Product Manager for Policy Administration System (PAS) is responsible for maximizing the value of our policy administration platform for our Retail Life products. The chosen product manager is expected to establish and maintain relationships outside the Core Modernization team, including Retail Life product team, our Service and Purchasing value streams, our technology solutions and Agency partners, vendors, and engage with various stakeholders to seek clarity and validate business requirements/acceptance criteria.
