Sitting at the intersection of business and technology, the Aladdin Product Management team works closely with developers, researchers, and other stakeholders to innovate, conceptualize, design and pilot new capabilities across the investment lifecycle. As a Product Manager, you will have a positive impact on developing the product vision and leading day to day execution of the roadmap. There are many strategic areas that need exploration, evaluation, and prioritization, while in parallel ensuring that the tactical needs for continuing to deliver the product are met.

2+ years of experience in product management / business analysis / client service that includes building and launching technology in a B2B or B2C market Dedicated interest in understanding, detailing, and mastering related workflows Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely Bias for action and willingness to take risks Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to make data driven decisions and deliver results quickly Preference for and demonstrated success in a team-oriented environment BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or equivalent practical experience Primary Responsibilities:
Partner with teams across Aladdin to drive forward strategic product decisions that accelerate the Aladdin offering Define and document detailed product requirements and design product specifications Attend and help manage key agile development rituals such as stand-ups, planning, demos, and retrospectives Develop, prioritize, and maintain roadmaps, provide quarterly updates on deliverables and create content for management communications Work with team leadership to maintain Aha! boards across the program (maintaining and managing the product backlog) Keep abreast of the competitive landscape and new opportunities for partnership Become a subject matter expert and provide technical/industry expertise to both sales and clients directly on how to leverage the Aladdin offering Our benefits To help you stay energized, engaged and inspired, we offer a wide range of benefits including a strong retirement plan, tuition reimbursement, comprehensive healthcare, support for working parents and Flexible Time Off (FTO) so you can relax, recharge and be there for the people you care about.
Our hybrid work model

Job Role We are looking for a detail oriented, self-motivated, and collaborative Fund Data Specialist to join our global WTE team. They will be responsible for the representation of our products across our public websites and services. These products cover an extensive range including iShares ETFs, BlackRock Mutual Funds, Closed End Funds, BlackRock Indexes, and Model Portfolios. The ideal candidate will use their knowledge of financial instruments and markets to build an excellent understanding of our product offering and technology platform. They will need to have excellent communication and proficient negotiation skills to work with a broad group of often senior executives in Product, Sales, Marketing, Technology, Legal and Compliance to ensure that we represent our product in the best possible way. They will partner with our product teams to help them navigate the firm and enable the setup of data feeds with internal and external providers. Finally, they will need to analyse, manage, document and execute operational and technology changes to support Blackrock's ever evolving product offering. Key Job Responsibilities: <ul><li>Interact with various stakeholders to understand the data needs of their product and deliver solutions which address the specific requirements of a product or business.</li><li>Aid in the formation and execution of platform changes to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.</li><li>Manage the delivery of solutions from ideation to completion, including testing and on-going support of applications.</li><li>Manage existing production systems and processes, while implementing strategic solutions that help to create common data products that can be used throughout WTE.</li><li>Be the subject matter authority on Fund data and teach other teams how to navigate the firm and implement scalable changes.</li><li>Liaise with business areas in order to provide end user support and training.</li><li>Partner with WTE team members, Onboarding, Product, Legal, Compliance, and other groups on everyday processes to help meet the channel's needs.</li><li>Work closely with members of the WTE Engineering team to develop new ideas and concepts, and to constantly find opportunities to improve existing processes.</li></ul> Mandatory <ul><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Organized, accurate, and detail oriented.</li><li>Experience with product management and/or software development.</li><li>Experience of producing detailed business requirements documentation.</li><li>Ability to grasp complex systems and focus on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.</li></ul> Preferred <ul><li>Experience in Financial Services or Investment Management.</li><li>Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, economics or finance-related field.</li><li>Formal product management or business analysis qualification.</li></ul> Our benefits To help you stay energized, engaged and inspired, we offer a wide range of benefits including a strong retirement plan, tuition reimbursement, comprehensive healthcare, support for working parents and Flexible Time Off (FTO) so you can relax, recharge and be there for the people you care about.
