RESPONSIBILITIES The following job functions are a basic requirement but are not limited to and may be assigned other duties. <ul> <li>Serve as liaison to functional teams such as Business Development, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Production, and Flight Operations to support cost estimating and pricing activities. </li><li>Develop cost/price models and apply cost estimating principles and techniques to develop cost estimates and pricing strategies for new products and services. </li><li>Prepare quotes and cost/price proposals with FAR/DFARS compliant documentation, including fee/profit justifications and required cost and pricing data. </li><li>Prepare certificates of current cost or pricing data, documentation for sole source justifications, and other required substantiating documentation. </li><li>Coordinate with Procurement to obtain competitive vendor quotes and required documentation (certifications, SDS, etc.). </li><li>Prepare CPSR compliant documentation for quotes and Make-Buy decisions. </li><li>Analyze historical data to develop cost estimates and identify cost drivers. </li><li>Participate in proposal kickoff meetings and strategy sessions to provide cost estimating and pricing insights. </li><li>Support audits and fact-finding efforts by providing detailed cost data and analysis. </li><li>Continuously monitor and improve cost estimating processes and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. </li><li>Collaborate with product teams to ensure accurate pricing of products. </li><li>Stay updated with industry trends and competitive pricing strategies. </li><li>Prepare and present pricing and cost estimates to stakeholders, including senior management. </li><li>Maintain documentation and records of cost estimates and pricing strategies. </li><li>Assume all other responsibilities as assigned. </li></ul>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS The following are a non-exhaustive list of qualifications for the position: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field). </li><li>3 years of experience as a cost estimator and pricing specialist. </li><li>3 years of experience in federal proposals. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team. </li><li>Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. </li><li>Experience with cost estimating and pricing tools or software. </li></ul>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS <ul><li>Experience in developing cost estimates and pricing strategies for products. </li><li>Experience with advanced cost estimating techniques (e.g., parametric modeling, Monte Carlo simulations). </li><li>Knowledge of data analysis techniques to enhance cost estimating accuracy. </li><li>Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities. </li><li>Experience in writing FAR compliant cost/price narratives. </li><li>Experience with federal contractor pricing software. </li><li>Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). </li><li>Familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). </li></ul>EDGE AUTONOMY BENEFITS <ul><li>Matching 401(k) </li><li>Paid PTO </li><li>Paid holidays </li><li>Medical, vision, and dental insurance </li><li>Group Short-Term & Long-Term Disability </li><li>HSA and FSA Options </li><li>Critical Care Plan </li><li>Accident Care Plan </li></ul> HIRING REQUIREMENTS If an offer of employment offer is extended, applicant must have the ability to pass a background check and the ability to be insured by the Company's Auto-policy.
