Engineering Manager

Pay: $100k - $130k

Location: Athol, MA

Industry: Plastic Extrusion

Responsibilities

Responsible for all aspects of engineering from tooling design to process development, assisting in material selection and process troubleshooting.
Lead New Product Development to help sustain business growth, including new material processing.
Responsible for preparing engineering data required for RFQ as per customer drawings.
Manage the APQP process, directly and indirectly involved in the design and/or redesign of parts or products and the design and/or improvements to the tooling, processes and systems.
Responsible for proposal, preparation, and execution of capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects.

Qualifications

BS degree in Engineering preferred
Seven (7) + years of experience in an engineering role in a manufacturing environment.
MUST have plastics extrusion process and materials knowledge.
Strong understanding of machining and knowledge of extrusion equipment troubleshooting.
