POSITION DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE: Plant Engineering Manager

EFFECTIVE DATE: June 2024

REPORTS TO: General Manager LOCATION: Canonsburg, PA

DEPARTMENT: Production

STATUS: Exempt

Position Description Summary

Lead Plant Engineering dept. (includes maintenance) and direct process and productivity improvement projects and related investment in all key Transformer production areas to maximize capacity utilization and through put of the factory. Provide or direct training of supervisors and Dept. employees on new productivity improvement techniques. Supervise productivity improvement projects.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Relevant experience in the Medium and Large Power Transformer Manufacturing
Must be able to work on complex work assignments.
Has contributory or shared decision impact.
Must have good communication skills – oral and written.
Good computer skills, i.e., Microsoft Office, programming
Strong understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts

Education and Experience

Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering plus 36 months of experience in the job offered or as an Electrical Engineering Professional.
