Job Title: Azure Data Architect

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement data architectures on Azure that align with the organization's needs and objectives.
Select and configure Azure data storage solutions, including Azure DataBricks, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Cosmos DB.
Develop data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, and other integration tools to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources.
Create and maintain data models for efficient querying and reporting using Azure Analysis Services or other relevant tools.
Implement and manage data security measures, including encryption, authentication, and authorization, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
Optimize data solutions for scalability and performance, utilizing indexing, caching, and other performance-enhancing techniques.
Establish and maintain monitoring systems to track the health and performance of data solutions, making necessary optimizations as data usage patterns evolve.
Design and implement strategies for disaster recovery and high availability to minimize data loss and downtime.
Control and optimize costs associated with Azure data solutions by leveraging Azure cost management tools and best practices.
Create and maintain documentation for data architectures and best practices, ensuring knowledge sharing within the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

Proven experience in designing and implementing data solutions on the Azure cloud platform.
MS Azure certifications related to data services and architecture (e.g., MS Certified: Azure Data Engineer, MS Certified: Azure Solutions Architect).
Must have experience with Azure Databricks.
Strong knowledge of data modeling, database design, and SQL and NoSQL databases.
Experience with data warehousing and analytics tools, such as Azure Synapse Analytics and Power BI.
Proficiency in data security and compliance, including GDPR and HIPAA.

Desired Qualifications:

Nice to have Mortgage / Banking industry experience.

Location: Plano - TX (Hybrid Role; Needs to work 2 to 3 days from Office;

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $100000 – $160000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is eligible for commissions in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan. Commissions for this position are estimated to be based on individual performance. Additionally, this role is also eligible for bonus based on achievement of mutually agreed KRAs.
