This position is contingent on contract award.

Elite Talent Solutions is looking for a Data Analyst II to evaluate the Recruiting, Retention, and Attrition trends in recruiting in order to establish new and effective means of hitting the target market. The data analyst is responsible for keeping the recruiters in Recruiting & Retention (R&R) Command advised of current recruiting numbers, market trends, and possible weaknesses in order to increase current market share for the GA Army National Guard (ARNG)

Responsibilities

Provides Recruiting and Retention Command and Staff with current/historical custom recruiting reports and data trends as requested.
Provides Company Command teams current/historical custom recruiting reports data and data trends as requested.
Sorts, downloads, manipulates, and consolidates all accession spreadsheets into one report.
Consolidates IST/ISR additions and Data Warehouse accessions.
Provides “Block Mission” accession data.
Provides accession data for Battalion, Company, Section, and R&R NCO levels.
Daily status board update:
- Utilizes daily accession data, convert to briefing slides, and post hard copies to the command status board.
MOS bonus list reports:
- Sorts/manipulates G-1’s raw bonus vacancies spreadsheet report into two specific reports, the commanders report (includes 100%+ fill, FWD/REAR report dets); GA ARNG bonus section’s report (deletes 100%+, FWD/REAR dets).
Battalion Briefings Coordination:
- Plans and schedules ongoing meetings as required for Commanders and Staff.
- Recommends adjustments and transmits WARNORD for Battalion level briefings to accommodate resources and decision made at the higher level.
- Conducts a wide range of activities related to staff work such as tracking progress of FRAGORD deadlines. Generates accession slides.
- Performs scribe functions during the Battalion level briefings.
Weekly significant event reports:
- Identify and provides the Battalion Commander, Executive Officer and Command Sergeant Major significant reports on Monday mornings that lists events pertaining to R&R and GAARNG for the next 7 days in detail, and then extensive information for the next two quarters.
- Prepares reports that also include scheduled VTCs, meetings, MEPS schedule, Company drills, and mobilization readiness IPRs for Senior Leadership within the Battalion.
VTC coordination:
- Coordinates and verifies rooms (IP address/bridge) with NGB video operations.
- Ensures VTC location is reserved and equipment is operational.
- Conducts communications check prior to VTC.
NGB DPRO reports:
- Provides technical knowledge to Battalion S3 and downloads, organizes, consolidates, and archives Director’s Personnel Readiness Overview data which results in the independent compilation of data relevant to R&R program areas.
- Generates R&R spreadsheets for annual ACoE submissions, to include training pipeline losses, accessions, end strength, and reenlistment to the Battalion S3 for distribution to higher.
- Tracks, monitors, and updates R&R’s E-mail distribution lists.
- Updates R&R maps.

Qualifications

This position will require that the individual have a valid Secret security clearance (or higher). This is required IOT gain access to some systems that require Secret clearance. (No classified data will be handled.)
Must have experience using Microsoft Excel and other data compiling platforms.
Applicants must be able to present data in many different forms, such as tables and graphs.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

Normal work week, normal office work hours.

Travel

Occasional travel for training and/or conferences.
