We've already helped over a million people by giving them the tools they need to achieve their goals, feel good and do a little better — from building their credit scores to growing their savings, to just understanding how it all works. But we're not stopping there. We're launching a new product in 2024 to continue delivering on our mission. Rapid experimentation to find what works, and learn as much as we can, is at the heart of our growth story.

What you’ll do

You know that it’s not just about the data we have, but what we can do with it that counts. In this role you’ll be turning insight into action as a key member of a multifunctional experimentation squad where you’ll lead on the ‘learn’ element of ‘test and learn’ to help drive growth for the business, deliver on our mission and make an impact. As the representative on the squad from the data and finance team, you will be the subject matter expert in the squad for your discipline. You will:

Work closely within squads to formulate hypotheses we can test that are based on insights derived from your data analysis.
Collaborate with other squad members to design experiments, defining the metrics to measure that will indicate impact, then building these data requirements into each experiment as part of its technical development.
Collect and process data from experiments/optimisations, and then create clear and informative visualisations to communicate initial findings to the squad.
Set up and monitor A/B tests and other analysis to evaluate the impact of changes on member behaviour.
Provide high quality monitoring and reporting on the performance of experiments at daily squad standups and other forums as required.
Run weekly learning sessions to explore experiment results, as well as sharing analysis on data you've gathered related to member behaviour.
Find the “so what?” in the results, and highlight what we could seek to learn or ask next via our next experiments and/or further data analysis.
Report back to other stakeholders, including the data and finance teams, to ensure that all relevant learning is shared, and bring any further insight or questions back from those teams into the squad for discussion.
Play a role in continuous improvement by identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for further optimisation, uncovering member behaviours that may not be immediately obvious.
Support the wider data team to answer the big questions that feed into Loqbox’s strategy.

Who you are

You have lots of experience working in fast-paced teams where ideas flow freely from everyone.
You are comfortable running workshops to draw out other’s perspectives and ideas.
You relentlessly look beyond the data to find the “so what?” in the analysis.
You stay on top of the latest data software so you are always providing as much impact as possible in your work.
You have a grounding in statistics allowing you to report effectively on the performance of experiments.
You leverage the skills and knowledge around you in the wider business to find the answer.
You are motivated by a love of your work and a connection to the mission of the business.
You are a strong collaborator, communicator and team player.
You have good presentation skills, and enjoy sharing what you’ve found in a way that’s easy to understand.
You are full of curiosity and enthusiasm, are motivated to learn as much as possible, then turn that insight into action.
