Within Video Services, this team is highly visible to the Executive Leadership and drives initiatives to retain and monetize DISHs customer base, including DISH and Sling brands. Job Duties and Responsibilities In this role, you will support the evolution of the DISH and SLING customer experience into the new age of Video Services. Below are just a few of the primary responsibilities you will own as part of the team. Key Responsibilities: Leverage analytic insights to drive initiatives and offers that enhance customer Loyalty through an evolving content delivery environment Develop and utilize financial modeling to make strategic decisions and guide business initiatives in ways that maximize the video services bottom line Identify and analyze industry trends to develop new retention strategies and support business direction Spearhead the development of Loyalty-based AI/ML initiatives that drive churn enhancements and operational efficiencies Lead projects dedicated to driving operational automation by integrating new technology Effectively communicate complex storylines and data-driven recommendations up to the SVP level Generate robust internal partnerships to project manage the implementation of developed operational tactics Utilize SQL code, creative analytics, and advanced modeling to drive decisions as a key consultant to the business Skills, Experience and Requirements Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree (4-year) in a focus that demonstrates logical thinking 4 years of experience in a data-driven analytics or strategy role Masters Degree in a relevant field a plus Skills and Qualifications: Experience developing analytic models and dynamic reports with SQL, Tableau, and Excel that drive business direction and insights Experience developing forecasts and financial modeling that drive project-based decisions Proven success working with large datasets Strong communication skills, with the ability to generate a meaningful story from data to both peer and executive audiences Excellent project management and time management skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Salary Ranges Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year Benefits We offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: DISH Benefits. Job Duties and Responsibilities This critical position is responsible for the calculation and analysis of subscriber data utilized for daily and monthly reporting, SEC filings (10K and 10Q) and internal business partners. The position has Executive-level visibility and provides information that drives business solutions. The candidate will be highly collaborative with internal business partners to proactively draw attention to and resolve subscriber count discrepancies to ensure accurate information is disseminated. Because of this, the role requires the ability to understand a variety of business units processes and end goals. The ability to work with large volumes of data without sacrificing accuracy is essential. Due to the fast-paced, ever-changing business environment, this role requires flexibility and innovative approaches to completing the work product. Key Responsibilities: Utilize source documentation generated from multiple billing engines and in-place systems to ensure accurate subscriber count extraction while meeting assigned deadlines Detailed analysis of subscriber count information Work closely with business partners to ensure subscriber counts are aligned and business changes are accurately reflected in subscriber data Partner with various groups to include Accounting, Finance, and DISH IT to develop subscriber reporting that accurately reflects subscriber counts Review and update current systems and tools to ensure a robust and repeatable process for extracting subscriber data is in place Aid in the audit and maintenance of financial subscriber reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls Ad-hoc reporting as needed by the business Skills, Experience and Requirements Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree; plus two years of relevant experience is preferred Skills and Qualifications: Executive presence: The ability to concisely and cogently deliver relevant subscriber information to Executive-level decision makers The ability to build and maintain business relationships to ensure EchoStar business goals are met Strong Excel and Access skills with proficiency working with database query tools, in addition to Google Suite Ability to learn quickly, prioritize and work under pressure, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment An inquisitive mindset and a willingness to question the status quo are desirable attributes Curiosity, Pride, Adventure and Winning are valued characteristics of a successful candidate High energy, positive attitude, detail oriented and the desire to learn Project management skills with attention to deadlines Salary Ranges Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year Benefits We offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: DISH Benefits.
