The Business Analyst is responsible for helping implement software solutions in most effective way by determining the requirements of a project or program and communicating them clearly to facilitators and partners. Managing, prioritizing and providing detailed functional requirements of products or features to the software development team as identified by the product owners or managers, is the key element of the position. This must be completed consistently to insure efficient delivery of solutions. The Business Analyst will work with business groups, functional area, users and development team members to maximize the benefits of the applications to their business needs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: <ul><li>Assist with developing and implementing a roadmap for business systems that aligns with the organization's strategic goals</li><li>Identify operational process gaps by utilizing measurable metrics and develop an appropriate action plan to deliver on various OPEX initiatives</li><li>Lead end-to-end implementations of new systems or upgrades, including planning, budgeting, and timeline management</li><li>Create and maintain annual project timelines</li><li>Monitor project milestones and communicate progress to stakeholders</li><li>Provide regular reports to leadership on system performance, cost efficiencies, and ROI</li><li>Coordinate with stakeholders outside the customer support team to ensure that any dependencies are considered from each team's work stream</li><li>Document processes and create standard work</li><li>Act as the liaison between technical teams and business users to troubleshoot issues and identify areas for improvement</li><li>Joint ownership responsibility for operational excellence data, analytics, and insights</li><li>Build, maintain, and enhance functionality and workflows in ETQ quality system</li><li>Use of data to drive analysis and decision making regarding feature priority, and process optimization in assistance of the product owner.</li><li>Investigate problems and data discrepancies, diagnose root causes, identify problematic trends, and work on resolving them. Conduct report outs on KPIs and drive corrective actions and improvements.</li><li>Updating, implementing and maintaining BA best-practice processes within the development team and also cross-functionally. Documentation and communication of results.</li><li>Analyze and document release levels and associated compatibility with currently deployed systems and standards including testing components and systems to see how they integrate with other systems and applications and if they perform to standards.</li><li>Plan the timing of and coordinate upgrades, patches, and enhancement</li><li>Performing user acceptance testing.</li><li>Identify, evaluate, and document risks.</li><li>Ensure assigned applications comply with relevant standards and regulations.</li></ul> MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: <ul><li>Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience</li><li>3 years of experience providing Business Application support</li></ul> PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: <ul><li>3 years of experience in a business analyst, software development, or product management role (full-time, internship, co-op, or contract experience).</li><li>Prior ETQ or equivalent software development or support experience including web applications.</li><li>Previous experience supporting and implementing software applications and administrating systems</li><li>Previous experience creating and using queries Microsoft SQL.</li><li>Previous project management experience.</li><li>Prior experience on agile software development teams.</li></ul> KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: <ul><li>Knowledgeable in conceptual modeling; has capacity to see the big picture and envision possible solutions.</li><li>Ability to understand the perspective of the business and end users, identify opportunities, and apply that understanding to solution proposals.</li><li>Ability to ask strong questions to help the team see areas that may lead to problems.</li><li>Ability to facilitate a team to consensus on scope, design decisions, and implementation decisions.</li><li>Ability to document requirements formally or informally depending on the need of the project.</li><li>Familiarity with requirements techniques such as user stories, use cases, and informal modeling.</li><li>Excellent problem solving skills and techniques.</li><li>Ability to work as part of large implementation team that executes in agile fashion.</li><li>Knowledge of utilizing scrum/agile ceremonies such as standups, sprint planning, and sprint review processes to deliver software solutions.</li><li>Ability to successfully engage in multiple tasks simultaneously.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and time management skills.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.</li><li>Ability to utilize IT Best Practices and IT tools related to application support, implementation, and documentation.</li></ul> Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.
