(Business Analyst - Capital Markets) Intro:
We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst for our Capital Markets division. This role will be part of the GWO team, working with middle office functions and contributing to the overall success of Asset Servicing - Corporate Action. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on an international and domestic team to provide a key role to the project's discovery process.

(Business Analyst - Capital Markets) Job Details:
The Business Analyst will be responsible for a broad array of operational duties including, but not limited to, the oversight and management of Corporate Actions, Prime Services Support, and Notifications in Canada for globally held assets. The contractor will also work within the Asset Services Modernization team for a current state analysis to determine processes, exceptions, and Eucs for each entity/system. They will participate in the creation of a future Target Operating model/requirements and be involved in the implementation phase.

(Business Analyst - Capital Markets) Mandatory Skills:
1) 10-15 years Asset Servicing industry experience/knowledge
2) Expert knowledge on Corporate Action processing (Mandatory & Voluntary), stock borrow loan
3) Transactions and liabilities, Income processing and various market entitlements compensations (Trade date vs settlement date market)
4) Excellent appreciation of the risks inherent within a securities operation including: global risk, settlement risk, FX risk, interest exposure, and payment risk
5) Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
6) Strong Excel Skills (Must be comfortable with pivot tables and V Lookups)
7) Broadridge BPS experienced user.

(Business Analyst - Capital Markets) Desired Skills:
1) Experience with Broadridge Gloss and Impact
2) Experience with depositories and foreign custodian Corporate Action processes and procedure (CDS, DTC, BNP, HSBC, Clearstream, Euroclear)
3) Familiar with Swift Corporate Action messaging.
4) Understanding of Tax consequences regarding Corporate Actions events (Section 302. Etc).

(Business Analyst - Capital Markets) Start Date:
The hiring manager is available to interview candidates as soon as possible. The position is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.

(Business Analyst - Capital Markets) Location:
The position is located at 250 Vesey Street, New York, New York, United States. The work schedule is from 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday. This is a hybrid position allowing for a mix of on-site and remote work.
