Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to document business policies, processes, workflows, and procedures by collaborating with a global team. The Business Analyst will gather, elicit, and document requirements, identifying opportunities for system and process improvements. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to understand business needs, and experience with process mapping and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

â€¢ Document business policies, processes, workflows, and procedures by interviewing the global team, understanding how the business functions, and gathering insights from stakeholders.

â€¢ Organize, compile, and present findings to the core team for reality checks, ensuring the documentation reflects the true state of current operations.

â€¢ Facilitate conversations with the team to identify gaps between the current state and the desired future state, and work to close these gaps.

â€¢ Drive conversations and identify business procedures to document as secondary priorities based on the overall business needs.

â€¢ Gather, elicit, and document requirements from business stakeholders, functional subject matter experts, and operational leads.

â€¢ Map and comprehend interactions and relationships of complex systems involving people, processes, information, and technologies.

â€¢ Research and evaluate alternative solutions to meet business needs and improve systems and processes.

â€¢ Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities to create system and process improvements.

Qualifications:

â€¢ Bachelorâ€™s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field (REQUIRED).

â€¢ 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.

â€¢ Strong communication skills with the ability to listen, understand, and restate information for confirmation.

â€¢ Proficient in documenting non-technical processes in Word, following existing templates and workflows (Visio or equivalent).

â€¢ Ability to properly interpret business requirements and translate them into clear documentation.

â€¢ Strong skills in Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

â€¢ Project coordination experience is highly preferred.

â€¢ Experience in SAP Supply Chain processes is highly preferred.

â€¢ Ability to work flexibly with early or late hours due to meetings or work requirements. A laptop will be provided.

Global Team Support:

â€¢ Collaborate with global partners in Asia, India, and the US, providing support to a diverse team and aligning business needs across multiple regions.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary

Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences. Constructs forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge. Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements. Collaborates with clients to modify or tailor existing analysis or reports to meet their specific needs. May participate in management reviews, including presenting and interpreting analysis results, summarizing conclusions, and recommending a course of action. This is a general role in which employees work with multiple types of business data. May be internal operations-focused or external client-focused.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, and requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.

Interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements

Communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze and transform needs, goals and transforming in to functional requirements and delivering the appropriate artifacts as needed.

Work with operational leaders within the business to provide recommendations on opportunities for process improvements, medical cost savings or revenue enhancements.

Create Business Requirements Documents, Test Plans, Requirements Traceability Matrix, User Training materials and other related documentations.

Actively participates in all stages of project development including research, design, programming, testing and implementation to ensures the released product meets the intended functional and operational requirements.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Experience

5-7 years of business analysis experience,

6+ years managed care experience.

Demonstrates proficiency in a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures applicable to job-related subject areas.

Preferred Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Experience

3-5 years of formal training in Project Management

Experience working with complex, often highly technical teams

Preferred License, Certification, Association

Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certification from International Institute of Business Analysis preferred
