We are looking for a Business Analyst to join the North America Nike Direct MPO Digital Fulfillment team.
The Digital Fulfillment team is responsible for managing the E2E inventory positioning strategy and readiness for the NA Digital business. Our mission is to ensure that the right inventory is located and activated at the right node, at the right time, prior to consumer purchase in order to deliver on our Consumer Promise objectives of speed, service, sustainability and cost.
In this role, you will support the supply chain operations and health of the North America nike.com and app business through the lens of inventory positioning management. Using data driven decision engines you will influence how our ecommerce (nike.com and Nike app) inventory is strategically placed across the network in order to deliver a premium consumer experience, maximize revenue and manage trade-offs with x-functional partners. You will motivate change in the organization by making analytics part of day to day business strategy to ensure better quality decisions, while balancing the constraints of the marketplace and supply chain. You will support a sustainable performance management cycle to improve inventory deployment decision making and consumer metrics. You are responsible for providing relevant and accurate data, highlighting risks and opportunities for internal and external partners, and running day to day business operations.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Support our consumer promise by managing optimization engine inputs to influence pre-season and in-season inventory deployment decisions
Influence the Regional Service Centers stocking policies, stocking strategies and flow strategies to position the right inventory, at the right time and the right place to reduce consumer lead times and minimize split shipments
Conduct root cause analysis on historical inventory deployment outcomes and present findings to Digital Fulfillment and Digital Operations leadership
Support the design and strategy of E2E performance management and monitor & measure the health of the inventory deployment through identifying and deploying these success metrics
Collaborate on the inventory deployment product backlog for new product enhancements and bugs
Support new feature product testing for inventory deployment engine and influence product design based on desired business results
Participate in “business analyst” network across the organization to share key takeaways
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH
This role reports to the manager for MPO Stores Fulfillment focusing on Inventory Planning. This role interacts closely with partners in the Transportation, IFP, Allocation and LBA teams to help influence store priorities.
WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE
Bachelor’s degree or a combination of relevant education, experience and training
3 years minimum of data modeling and forecasting experience
Performance Management, Supply Chain Operations, S&OP, Finance or related experience preferred.
Skilled with analytical tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, SQL etc.)
Shown capability of data analysis and insights to tackle business problems
Proactive problem-solving self-starter approach
Curiosity and ability to learn and connect complex topics
Ability to handle ambiguity
