About This Role  As a backend engineer, you will be one of the main developers building the infrastructure powering the core Sage platform. You will have a direct impact on the direction our infrastructure takes as we grow. Experience with distributed systems and stateless microservices is helpful, but most important is a strong software development foundation and a deep interest in building robust, scalable systems.

About the Role

Our data products at Sage provide insights to senior living communities that help them improve operations and provide better care to residents. As the product manager on this team, you will improve Sage's existing data platform and insights delivered via improved user experience and representation of insights, expanded data collected and insights shown, and better recommendation algorithms. You will play a crucial role in helping clients understand the value of Sage so they provide the best care possible.

Some examples of the work you'll be doing on any given day include:

Conduct market and user research to deep dive into client needs, identifying opportunities for improvement and expansion with Sage data products
Develop a strategy for how data products can supercharge the value clients receive from Sage
Establish key metrics tied to overall business outcomes to measure success and iterate quickly
Execute on launches with high judgement decisions, quality documentation and clear communication
Partner closely with analytics, engineering, design, marketing, sales, and operations teams to unblock development and bring new features and products to market

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

Core PM skillset:  6-8+ years of solid PM experience launching high quality products; strategic thinker that can take a step back when solutioning and connect opportunities to business value; can execute on launch, go-to-market, monetization, etc.
Experience with vision and 0 to 1:  Can incorporate user and market research, new advances in technology, and relevant policy / regulatory information into a compelling story and vision. Extreme sense of ownership and scrappy with limited resources.
Cross-functional:  Experience working across other product teams and commercial teams.
Technical experience:  Can get very deep in understanding and analyzing data. Understands how data is created, displayed, and common pitfalls; Analyst-type background preferred

Job Description:
We are searching for a Reporting and Analytics Manager to join our growing Global Routes to Revenue (RTR) Performance and Planning team at Sage. The RTR team is responsible for GTM design, developing commercial models, revenue planning and creating an analytical framework to measure GTM performance. Reporting into the Director of GTM Performance & Analytics, this role is critical with respect to building an end-to-end GTM Analytics suite (starting with Sage Intacct), and providing insights to shape commercial model decisions.
You must be passionate about cross-functional collaboration and project delivery as well as analyzing, interpreting and understanding large operational datasets in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. In addition, the successful candidate will be able to communicate implications and hypotheses with business stakeholders at all levels. You will have working knowledge of analytical and BI tools. We look for candidates who have some pre-existing expertise and supplement this with in-house training and experience to develop professionals of the highest caliber, who can bridge the gap between commercial drivers in finance, marketing and operations, with data and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
You will build and manage some of the key deliverables for global GTM analytics reporting Suite (starting with the Intacct product), including:
Work closely with the Data Product Manager GTM Analytics to maintain and evolve operational KPIs to measure key initiatives that support the growth of Sages key Business Units.
Build an interactive global reporting suite using above dataset, which looks at key marketing, operational and financial metrics / KPIs
Ownership of detailed process notes and guidance, documenting key calculations performed and assumptions taken
Work closely with stakeholders across the business and analysts in local regional Commercial Operations teams to produce high quality analyses that drive actionable insights
Communicate findings, insights, and results in a clear, concise, and effective manner to senior management.
Dive into areas of the business and conduct root cause analysis and support senior leaders to effect change where required.
Ownership of ad-hoc analytics projects to inform commercial model decisions, helping senior stakeholders in driving GTM strategy, along with maintaining the pipeline of these ad-hoc projects and tracking progress.
Establish strong relationships with and become a key advisor to Sages GTM executives.
Support, coach and mentor junior members of the team.

Develop and deploy machine learning models within the Sage Intacct reporting suite to provide predictive insights, leveraging tools like AutoML, Python, or others.

Reporting and Analytics Manager

Job Description:

We are searching for a Reporting and Analytics Manager to join our growing Global Routes to Revenue (“RTR”) Performance and Planning team at Sage. The RTR team is responsible for GTM design, developing commercial models, revenue planning and creating an analytical framework to measure GTM performance. Reporting into the Director of GTM Performance & Analytics, this role is critical with respect to building an end-to-end GTM Analytics suite (starting with Sage Intacct), and providing insights to shape commercial model decisions.

You must be passionate about cross-functional collaboration and project delivery as well as analyzing, interpreting and understanding large operational datasets in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. In addition, the successful candidate will be able to communicate implications and hypotheses with business stakeholders at all levels. You will have working knowledge of analytical and BI tools. We look for candidates who have some pre-existing expertise and supplement this with in-house training and experience to develop professionals of the highest caliber, who can bridge the gap between commercial drivers in finance, marketing and operations, with data and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will build and manage some of the key deliverables for global GTM analytics reporting Suite (starting with the Intacct product), including:

• Work closely with the Data Product Manager – GTM Analytics to maintain and evolve operational KPIs to measure key initiatives that support the growth of Sage’s key Business Units.

• Build an interactive global reporting suite using above dataset, which looks at key marketing, operational and financial metrics / KPIs

• Ownership of detailed process notes and guidance, documenting key calculations performed and assumptions taken

• Work closely with stakeholders across the business and analysts in local regional Commercial Operations teams to produce high quality analyses that drive actionable insights

• Communicate findings, insights, and results in a clear, concise, and effective manner to senior management.

• Dive into areas of the business and conduct root cause analysis and support senior leaders to effect change where required.

• Ownership of ad-hoc analytics projects to inform commercial model decisions, helping senior stakeholders in driving GTM strategy, along with maintaining the pipeline of these ad-hoc projects and tracking progress.

• Establish strong relationships with and become a key advisor to Sage’s GTM executives.

• Support, coach and mentor junior members of the team.

• Work effectively in diverse teams with an inclusive team culture where people are recognized for their contribution and support each other to learn and prosper

• Develop and deploy machine learning models within the Sage Intacct reporting suite to provide predictive insights, leveraging tools like AutoML, Python, or others.

• Integrate Generative AI capabilities into the reporting suite to automate insights, enhance data storytelling, and improve user interaction with reports.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8+ years progressive experience

• Minimum 2 years expertise with Power BI

• Ability to manage a small team (currently two members)

• Marketing analytics background desirable

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Familiarity with Generative AI technologies and their application in enhancing user experience.
