Leveraging this analysis, the analyst will play a pivotal role in optimizing transportation pricing strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency in our logistics operations.<ul><li>Transportation Data Analytics:<ul><li>Conducting internal and external transportation data analytics and cost research to support carrier negotiation.</li><li>Historic transportation cost data managing, and manipulating it in cost trend research.</li></ul></li><li>Carrier Negotiations:<ul><li>Negotiating the cost of transporting raw materials and finished goods.</li><li>Coordinating transport activities, ensuring efficient communication, and completing necessary paperwork.</li></ul></li><li>RFP Administration:<ul><li>Conducting internal and external RFQ data analysis and cost research for carrier sourcing.</li><li>Obtain quotes from different suppliers and negotiate price, quantity, terms, and conditions with transportation brokers/carriers</li></ul></li><li>Contract Administration:<ul><li>Work with the legal team to ensure all conditions regarding the business are met in the contract.</li><li>Administer the company’s internal procurement system during the sourcing process.</li></ul></li><li>Supplier Evaluation and Comparison:<ul><li>Evaluate suppliers’ quotes and compile a detailed assessment of cost element breakdowns.</li><li>Maintain quote comparison with financial simulation and provide data for freight forwarder/carrier selection</li></ul></li></ul>Qualifications <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or related field.</li><li>3+ years of experience as a Logistics Analyst or a similar role, demonstrating progressively increasing responsibilities and accomplishments.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel, with the ability to manipulate large datasets and create complex reports.</li><li>Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights to improve logistics operations.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders at all levels.</li><li>Comfortable working with tables, charts, and numbers to present findings and recommendations.</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.</li><li>Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.</li><li>Willingness to work additional hours outside of regularly scheduled business hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs.</li><li>Transportation Industry (Trucking or Trucking Brokerage) experience is plus</li><li>Bilingual (English/Korean) Prefer</li></ul> Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.</div></div>
