Overview: Edgewater Federal Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Information Systems and Data Analyst to provide database, governance, enterprise architecture, and analysis support to a Federal Government client located in Germantown, MD.As an onsite representative of the company, a successful candidate must possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with the client. Quality documentation and presentation skills are a must. Responsibilities: <ul><li>Work with various data warehouses, databases, and applications to extract data and provide visualizations to support decision making.</li><li>Develop analysis and reports using MS Power BI. Maintain, verify, and enhance existing MS Power BI reports and visualization to reflect updated data.</li><li>Provide system administration support and data import/export from various sources to enterprise architecture (EA) repositories, as required. Develop and execute database back up and recover procedures. Design/develop additional functionality, as required.</li><li>Interact with various software tools (Microsoft 365, MS Access, ServiceNow, Alfabet, Folio, etc.) and system owners to share and integrate data.</li><li>Facilitate and coordinate strategic data calls from internal and external organizations by working with component offices to gather the required data, analyze the data, and develop data call responses in a timely manner.</li><li>Organize and communicate organizational business functions and capabilities to be included in the enterprise architecture repository and assist in expanding implementation to external component offices as requested.</li><li>Identify and propose improvements to data collection processes to increase efficiency and accuracy of data.</li><li>Support the review, analysis, and impact of IT governance activities to support organizational goals.</li><li>Perform analysis of technical reference model (TRM) data to determine impacts to technical implementation solutions.</li><li>Actively participate in monthly meetings and working groups to facilitate collaboration with other organizational entities.</li><li>Develop presentations and support ad hoc reporting requests.</li><li>Additional responsibilities could include attend daily planning meetings and provide status reports, monitor and respond using shared mailbox, and draft and submit weekly status report of accomplishments, planned activities, issues/recommendations, and deliverables/work products.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>US Citizenship is a requirement for this position.
