Fenner Precision Polymers has an exciting internship opportunity with the Fenner Information Technology Team, located in Lititz, PA. The successful candidate will be responsible for an assigned use case in Data Analytics to study an assigned Manufacturing process and map out the key data elements within the process flow, from equipment setup to work order completion.Develop and document an implementation program to digitally capture critical data points in the manufacturing process that feeds the data warehouse to provide visual dashboards using Power-BI to monitor and flag actionable events.If time permits, build a proof of concept using the implementation program to demonstrate business value.The position reports to the IT Manager - Enterprise Systems.

What will you do?

As part of the Information Technology Team, you will be responsible for collaborating with various departments that interact with the manufacturing process, including Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Inventory, and Finance.

Supply Chain - Supply and demand planning of the raw material and in-process inventory for the manufacturing of a product.
Manufacturing - Bill of Materials and Routines that go into manufacturing a product. Track labor hour, equipment output capacity, equipment downtime reasons, and actual product output.
Procurement - The ordering, receiving, and handling of inventory leading to the manufacturing process.
Product Costing - The cost of inventory with applied direct labor on finished goods.

Education and/or Relative Experience:
