Position Summary

The Business Analyst is responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing improvement of our critical business and technology systems which include: Power BI, SQL Server, ERP Solutions and other reporting tools. In this role, you will partner with end-users to support their use of existing and implement new business applications and systems which focus around reporting, databases and analytics. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, well-organized, and able to create and implement a project plan to meet the specifications and goals set out by the business community. Creating and updating system documentation and manuals for end-user support is an essential skill.

Required Skills/Experience:

-Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline required

-Two+ years previous experience as a Business Analyst

-Previous experience in project management

-Able to independently lead, coordinate, plan, and oversee projects

-Previous experience supporting large business critical systems

-Proficiency in SQL Server, Databases, Analytics and Office 365

-Basic understanding of the SQL programming language

-Write and maintain procedures that outline the process flows of various systems

-Experience in BI Tools such as Power BI, Tableau or comparative solution

-Ability to query data by writing SQL queries, views, and\or stored procedures

-Experience working with enterprise relational databases.

-Experience in MySQL, SQL Server, Progress, or Oracle technologies for database table exposure and querying

-Experience planning and organizing day-to-day activities, effectively managing more than one task, and meeting established deadlines.

-Detail oriented, possessing strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
