How was the interview process? What was it like?
Definitely do your research on ride-share metrics, and how the business operates in general, and read the Lyft Data Science blogs. It seemed like the interviewers liked when a candidate is up to date on any news the company has put out.
For the take home challenge, I think having a good handle on A/B testing is what they were looking for.
What technical questions were asked?
Statistics & AB Testing, Probability, Business Case and Estimation
What was one of your solutions?
Technical Screening: Online research on ride share KPI's helped a lot here. Lyft's Data Science blog is a good starting point. Some examples of metrics important to ride share companies are: total hours driven/rider, total revenue/ driver, number of cancelled rides, average rider wait times, number of active users in an area, number of drivers in an area.
