How was the interview process? What was it like?
I was surprised at how adamant the interviewer was about his expectations on what the 'correct' answer was. And how much the interviewer lacked empathy and was not as open-minded. My advice / tips would be to study SQL / Python very well (as they can throw any question testing functions that you may not use as often) and to contextual questions to help you to set up the framework that is up to par with your interviewer's expectations. I did not do well because: 1. I did not ask enough contextual questions to help me set up a framework met my interviewer's expectations and 2. I did not thoroughly memorize the syntax for all the functions for SQL / Python.
What technical questions were asked?
SQL / Pandas, Statistics & AB Testing, Product Metrics and Measurement
What was one of your solutions?
I did not answer it correctly. However, while discussing my thought process with the interviewer, the interviewer described that using a window function (such as that of lead within SQL) and taking the difference between the two timestamps was the correct answer.
