How was the interview process? What was it like?
I had in total of 7 rounds. An initial phone screen asked basic ML definitions and 2 coding questions on a shared screen. Then I was called onsite where I had 3 technical discussions on ML, NLP and research experience. They asked questions about NLP papers I had read and core ML concepts like SVM, Logistic regression, ensemble classifiers, etc. Then I had a cultural round where I was given a situation and they asked me how did I manage in the past or will manage such a situation. One challenge that I faced and how overcame. Strengths and weaknesses. One thing I liked about my previous manager and one I didn't. After this round, I had one round with hiring manager who again asked technical questions regarding ML. Last round with VP of Amazon India, he is also a technically strong guy so he asked me coding questions and some NLP brainstorming.
What technical questions were asked?
Modeling and ML knowledge, Probability, Data Structures and Algorithms
What was one of your solutions?
